The public is invited to review the draft Comprehensive Transportation Plan and to submit comments during the 30 day comment period which ends on May 9, 2014. All comments should be submitted in writing to transportationplan@dekalbcountyga.gov or by postal mail to the following address:

Coweta CTP Draft Recommendations Now Available

August 22, 2013

As noted in an earlier Spotlight post, Coweta County and its constituent cities are in the process of updating their Comprehensive Transportation Plan. ARC’s CTP program, now in it’s 6th year, provides funding for counties and their municipalities to develop joint long-range transportation plans. These plans help articulate local priorities for transportation investments and serve as the basis for building the region’s long-range Regional Transportation Plan.

Informed by technical analysis, stakeholder interviews and public outreach, a set of draft recommendations for transportation improvements throughout Coweta County is now available. These draft recommendations are outlined in a virtual public information meeting video, which may be found below.

A survey is available to offer the public an additional avenue to provide feedback on the progress made thus far on the Coweta CTP. Click here to take the online survey, which must be completed by August 23rd, 2013.
