Clean Air Campaign Recognizes and Rewards Coweta Green Commuters

Representatives from the Clean Air Campaign were on hand yesterday in Coweta County to honor green commuters and encourage others to give commute alternatives a try.

“This was a very successful event,” according to Kate Wilson, Employer Program manager with The Clean Air Campaign. “I know a lot of people started thinking about carpooling and biking for the first time, and that’s one thing we really want to do – just plant the seed at first and let them think about it.” In all, 15 carpoolers, two bicyclists and one transit rider were recorded and received prizes for doing their part to increase air quality and decrease traffic congestion.
