The Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration are now in the process of reviewing the Atlanta region’s transportation planning process to ascertain compliance with all federal requirements. No less than every four years, FHWA and FTA are required by federal law to conduct a review of metropolitan transportation planning processes. The Atlanta region’s transportation decision making is based on this process as well as what transportation projects are planned, selected and prioritized for implementation.
The public is invited to share their thoughts on the matter to representatives from FHWA and FTA at a hearing to be held at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on Wednesday, August 17th from 5PM to 7PM.
