The RTMC facility was designed according to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards to ensure energy efficiency and environmentally conscientious construction. This project is the first of its kind in the region and is registered with the US Green Building Council.

Commuters can receive real-time traffic data provided by the RTMC at both the Cobb DOT web page and their Twitter feed. For more information about the new RTMC, visit the Cobb DOT web page at http://dot.cobbcountyga.gov/index.htm.
